CELEBRATING SHAKESPEARE

As most of you know, this year we commemorate the 400th anniversary of the deaths of Shakespeare and Cervantes.

We want to offer you the oportunity of reading two plays by Sakespeare in comic version. You'll find The Merchant of Venice and The Tempest in the links below. They are not as popular as Romeo and Juliet or Hamlet, so it is a good chance to get to know more of Shakespeare's magnificent production.

We hope you'll like them!

DUBLIN 2016

A group of students and two teachers of our school have just come back from an amazing trip to Dublin. We were there for a week (2nd to 9th of april), but we had time to do a great lot of things. Have a look at them!

We visited the natural park of Glendalough, with its monastic site (the graveyard was a bit spooky...) and its astonishing lake...

We also walked around Dublin and saw most of its best-known monuments and parks...

We had time to go shopping...

But also visited Trinity College, the world famous university in Dublin. Here we are at its impressive library.

In Howth, we experienced what the Irish call "four seasons in one day"... Sun, wind, rain.... in one hour. Crazy weather, beautiful sea and, of course, fish and chips!

At Malahide Castle, the ghost didn't show up, but we had a great time...

We warmed our hands inside a viking hut in Dublinia...

Every day we travelled to school by train (the DART) or by bus... The students spent four hours a day in Malvern House, where they learnt and practised English.

It has been a wonderful experience. We hope we will repeat it next year!
